چکیده

Abstract: We use the Ward identities corresponding to general linear transformations, and derive relations between transport coefficients of (2 + 1)-dimensional systems. Our analysis includes relativistic and Galilean invariant systems, as well as systems without boost invariance such as Lifshitz theories. We consider translation invariant, as well as broken translation invariant cases, and include an external magnetic field. Our results agree with effective theory relations of incompressible Hall fluid, and with holographic calculations in a magnetically charged black hole background.

Superconformal Ward Identities and Their Solution

Superconformal Ward identities are derived for the the four point functions of chiral primary BPS operators for N = 2, 4 superconformal symmetry in four dimensions. Manipulations of arbitrary tensorial fields are simplified by introducing a null vector so that the four point functions depend on two internal R-symmetry invariants as well as two conformal invariants. The solutions of these identi...

Simulations of N = 2 super Yang - Mills theory in two dimensions

We present results from lattice simulations of N = 2 super Yang-Mills theory in two dimensions. The lattice formulation we use was developed in [1] and retains both gauge invariance and an exact (twisted) supersymmetry for any lattice spacing. Results for both U(2) and SU(2) gauge groups are given. We focus on supersymmetric Ward identities, the phase of the Pfaffian resulting from integration ...

On Four - Point Functions of 1 2 - BPS Operators in General Dimensions

We study four-point correlation functions of 1 2-BPS operators of arbitrary weight for all dimensions d = 3, 4, 5, 6 where superconformal theories exist. Using harmonic superspace techniques, we derive the superconformal Ward identities for these correlators and present them in a universal form. We then solve these identities, employing Jack polynomial expansions. We show that the general solut...

Two - dimensional N = ( 2 , 2 ) super Yang - Mills theory on computer

We carry out preliminary numerical study of Sugino’s lattice formulation [1, 2] of the two-dimensional N = (2, 2) super Yang-Mills theory (2d N = (2, 2) SYM) with the gauge group SU(2). The effect of dynamical fermions is included by re-weighting a quenched ensemble by the pfaffian factor. It appears that the complex phase of the pfaffian due to lattice artifacts and flat directions of the clas...

We derive a generalized set of Ward identities that captures the effects of topological charge on Hall transport. The Ward identities follow from the 2+1 dimensional momentum algebra, which includes a central extension proportional to the topological charge density. In the presence of topological objects like Skyrmions, we observe that the central term leads to a direct relation between the the...
